I retired from Pfizer, Inc. in 2007 as a Senior District Manager/Master Level after a career of over 40 years. We own a home in Nags Head, North Carolina and we have just moved to our newly built home in Manakin-Sabot, Virginia. It is so good to be back in Virginia and have the luxury of being able to go to The Beach when we want to.

School Story:

I am still close to my TJ graduated classmates in Richmond which get together about once every couple of months for lunches. This core group have remained together after all these years telling the same stories over and over each time we meet.

After TJ I Graduated from Virginia Tech in 1966 with a BA Degree in Political Science. I joined Pfizer Inc. after graduation and worked for them for over 40 years retiring in 2007. I was then up until March of 2013 a Pfizer Ambassador, one of 12 individuals who worked Medical Conference around the globe. I also am very active as an American Heart Association Board Member and have an Adjunct Faculty Appointment at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The photo below is of Elsie and myself at The University of Como in Como, Italy. We took a cooking class there while on a trip to Lake Como with The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. We love to travel and will be traveling to Thailand, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore one summer. We have traveled all over the globe. Recent trips were to Africa, Greece and this past late October and early November to Italy. Interesting that in Rome we actually came across a Bar named "Nags Head Bar".

I did not know Bobby well, but my cousin, who was in the class behind ours, knew him well. I called my cousin to tell him of Bobby's passing, and my cousin already knew. It seems as though Bobby was in my cousin's wedding, many years ago.

Cathy and John: Elsie and I know Pete quite well, as Elsie had a Landscape Design and installation business for years. Knowing that John was Pete's brother was a great relationship for us with Pete. We are so sorry for your loss!!!

Jim was such a dear person. At every TJ event that he attended with Jane, he ALWAYS made sure to seek me out. He knew that I had been a Board of Director at The American Heart Association for now over 35 years. I was elevated to The Board of Directors to the Board, and that is the capacity that I currently have. Jane and Jim were such a fixture at all of our events and I will sincerely miss him, His smile and laughter were always there with him, May G-D rest his sole and Bless this family

Ernie was such a decent person. For many years he was our accountant, and for many more he was our friend. The news of his passing evokes a great sadness. Just this past week when I had lunch at my friend Sidney Padow's Restaurant, Sidney asked of me if I had heard any updates on his condition and at the time I had not. May G-D Bless Ernie and his family at this very sad news.
