Marilyn: I trust that your Passover has been a good one for you and your family?
Linda:
So happy that they got across the border. This is very unfathomable in this day and time that these atrocities are not able to be challenged on Russian Soil. My wife and I are so upset was to what is going on as the world watches. G-d Bless your family
Jo Ann: Sorry my late post. I am a retired Senior District Manager with Pfizer. Earlier in my career, I covered the State Mental Hospitals for Pfizer. I can remember and how impressed I was with the workers who cared for these challenged individuals. These people like yourself, should be honored by the populous for the work you and many like you perform. CARING to me in one of the most important attributes that all people should have within them. THANK YOU FOR YOUR WORK

Marilyn: I was writing you a reply and it disappeared? I was stating that I would be pretty sure that my Fathers Parents knew yours. They lived on 19th street three houses from road Street. If you went directly across Broad street from their home the Temple was also on 19th street on the same side of the street as their home. My grandfather owned the Shoe repair shop on the corner of 20th and Broad.

As we continue our "Journey" on this planet, we are constantly reminded of our ability to impact others lives by our deeds. Make everyday a day that can change someones life because you have lived.
Certainly we all have lost a dear friend. Billy and I have been friends ever since we met. Our families have been together in many activities and life events. Sad is a word that does not do justice to the loss of Billy. Another of my dear friends, Russell Flammia and me you used to take Billy to lunch on a frequest basis in recent years to another dear friend's restaraunt Padow's. Billy enjoyed going out and being with his friends for his class at TJ. I will miss him greatly as the impact he had on me, my wife and my children can not be denied. This earth lost a servant friend in Bill Stanley. May G-D Bless him and his family.
Anne: We are indeed living in Nags Head however, we are in the process of building a new home not 100 yards from our old one in Manakin-Sabot. We are doing some traveling until the end of the year with a trip taking us to Charlotte, Atlanta, Hilton Head, Coco Beach and then to Singer Island in Palm Beach. Trust that you will have a Happy Thanksgiving. We think of you often. Stay in touch with us.
Gus: I missed your birthday. Happy Belated one to you. We have some great memories together my friend. Trust all is well?

Anne, I wanted you to know that I pray for Billy every night. He was such a good friend to many and to me. I trust that you are OK. We are moving to Nags Head to our home their until our new home construction is complete. Unfortunately the construction start date is not until February of 2022. So we will be in Nag Head for a long time.

Marilyn: Sorry I missed your Birthday but a day late is not too bad for me.
Smiley
It is with great sadness that I received the news about "Smiley". Think about how one gets the knickname SMILEY.We had just had lunch together at Padow's. Smiley was upbeat as he always was when we all gathered. That day, Russell, Billy Stanley, Sidney and me shared the fellowship that we always did. Missing that day was George Shear who almost always came with Smiley.
We are greatfull for the friendships that we have and will miss Smiley because of who is was in our lives.
