When I tried to vote for Padow's this morning, I got a totally different series of screens then all the days before.  Was unable to vote even though it said there was still an hour remaining.  Does anyone know why?  If the contest is over how can we find out the results?  Because the contestants were listed in order, maybe Sid should rename his place All American Padows or (remembering Happy Days) Al's.

George, I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to vote the other day. We all know Padow's is the BEST! Mary Lee Hudson Meacham

Thanks, Mike, for posting my photos of our Cruise!  It was hard narrowing down 2,000 pix to 6, but I figured  you'd all like it better that way!!!   One response so far from a classmate! - We may have been on the same Cruise Ship!!!  (Is that possible??)

Mary Pendsulo thinks we were on the same ship on the same date!!

There were about l,000 people on the ship, so did we cross paths somewhere?

I don't know!!!

I am so sorry, Jane Sydney Green Meloy.   I did not know you well at Tee Jay, but I feel that the lost of your spouse must be very difficult for you.  Prayers for comfort to you at this time.

Jane Sydney, I was so sorry to learn of your husbands passing. You and your family will definitely be remembered in Roger's and Our family daily prayers. I am so grateful that Mike keeps our class in the loop for information since we live in Pa and don't get down to Richmond except for luncheons in the spring and fall. Our hearts and prayers are with you at this time. Mary Lee Hudson Meacham

I sent out and email asking if anyone had a mailing address for Charlie Wingate and I got a response from Charlie himself.  Charlie is currently living in a small colonial town, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, studying Spanish.  He plans on being there through April or May then heading to Honduras, maybe Guatemala, Nicaragua then Cuba.

I have asked him to share some of his photographs with me for the website.

Living the dream!  Calm winds and following seas Charlie.

Oh, I am SO JEALOUS!!!

I fell in love with Guatemala, and I would LOVE to go back there, to see how all those beautiful crafts are made!!!

My husband liked Nicaragua, due to his "Crocodile Cruise!"

Charlie Wingate, you ARE "living the dream!"

I would LOVE to go live somewhere "South of the Border," where people are friendly, and the food is delicious!

But I am not so sure about Cuba, until the people get salary raises and don't have to beg for money from tourists!!!

Lucky you!!!!

In1965, I drove my long time "brother-like" friend from Binford and TJ to the bus terminal as he began his journey with the US Air Force.   On March 6, 2014, we reconnected.  Tom and his wife, Sandi, have been a blessing and inspiration to me.   Happy Anniversary bro-friend.

Wow, George Armstrong!  That was 49 years!!   So glad you found your friend!  It took me about that long to find Mary Draney & Jane Norwood, Lois & Sidney Padow, and Mary Rosenfeld !   That is what this page is for!

George Hill, I think you lived up the street from me, when we were in kids.  I thought Costa Rica was interes- ting, also, but I would like to have seen more than the Crocodiles!  Maybe we will make another trip there one day!!!

Sue Salemme, I hpe you had a nice birthday!!!

(This computer has not been working for a few days, so I have to "keep up to date!")

Hi folks, Mike Floyd is in Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester Va. We learned about his condition at our reunion committee meeting Tuesday afternoon.  I want to share the message Harriet posted on Facebook on 3/16:

'He has a severe lung infection & pneumonia..scary.. and is going to have a long and slow recovery...Mike is giving his all to kick its butt..he will, with a little help from his friends...including our sweet Lord,   Prayers, you all.'          Classmates we can send our thoughts and prayers to Mike and Harriet!

I spoke very briefly with Mike today because coughing limits his ablitly to talk. Harriet said she appreciates all of the thoughts and prayers.  She suggested that cards be sent to their home address which is:

All: I spoke directly with Michael, while he is the hospital in Glouchester, yesterday morning. He sounded very good and obviously this infection has thrown him for a loop. What might not be known to many is the fact that my Mom and Dad with me as a passenger, during the work week, would stop and pick Michael up from his home and then take us both to our jobs in downtown Richmond as they drove downtown everyday. This obviously was many years ago but the fact of the matter is that Michael and I have always been very close. We certainly wish Michael well in his recovery and look forward to discharge from the hospital soon.
